Hi,

This is going to be a short one. My 1st year of polytecnic is coming to an end... 1 year passes by so fast. Oh, and btw, happy new year to all of you :)

1) Secondary School Friends

When you're more mature, you make longer lasting friends. To my buddies py, jj, leon, bri, bernard, yb, wm. Missing you guys here in poly. I occasionally bump into some of you though. I always remember my friends, i hope you do guys do too :)

2) Teachers (Primary/Secondary)

I really really miss my primary school and secondary school teachers. Heck, i even remember my primary 1 form teacher's name, Ms Margaret Low. Wherever you are 'cher', i hope you're doing fine :) And Ms Wong too!
My secondary school teachers, who am i kidding? I miss all of them.

3) Choir

It wasn't a mistake to go into choir during secondary 2. The few guys who were in choir with me, we were awesome! Training every week wasn't in vain when we got silver for SYF. We went through so many crappy instructors till we found the right one. Them juniors should be glad we filtered the best instructor xD And to the teachers in charge, i hope you guys find success with every new batch and let's hope YISS choir will never die down (like the previous batch did *puke*)

Another usual day in class

Hi,

I have made up my mind to chase away dust bunnies from my blog. I've been pretty busy with my studies. But im going to be honest with you, i've been gaming more than studying(like a ratio of 3:1), which is pretty bad.

Just so you know dear diary, i didn't get a very impressive start from my first semester in polytechnic. Its certainly different from secondary education, where teachers would chase after you for homework and ask to study more. In fact, no one really cares. It's as if we're all in a rat race, attempting to outrun one another.

For all my school mates at Singapore Poly, it's OK if you didn't do well, just rethink what you did to get those grades. "Fire and adjust", staying in the same spot after getting hit is definitely plain retarded. By the way, the first paragraph was referring to my first semester. Im more focused on reading my notes and studying after the shocker grades.

Interestingly, today's DVDE class (Unsure what it stands for, think of it as digital arts) was about photography. I decided to pair up with HJ. Im unsure of what model we were using, but it was Lumix DSLR.

On the side note, i've been running around my head about getting a DSLR. That Nikon D3100, you don't know how much i want you baby.

Anyway, i tried going for the manual zooms and focus. At first it looked awesome on the screen(Note to self: The screen deceives). However, to my horror, it looked horrible when it was transferred to my computer. I shall not be a smartass to go manual on a camera i just started using again.

I've recently watched 'The Social Network', its a show that was screening a few months back, gave it a miss. Just to fill you in, the show is about the founding of facebook and the hardships Mark encountered during the development of it.

Looks like i've been updating quite regularly unlike my previous few months. This is probably continue if i keep having that inspiration and the mood to blog.

Anyway, its probably been a few months since school has started and i must say that i'm enjoying polytechnic life! Everyone has their own clique and i have mine too =s We even made a group on Facebook to signify our existence, a group called Trolls Inc.

Its also been a few weeks of Japanese lessons at school and i have learnt a lot! I might even post some phrases on the next post (Just to show how good i am, heh heh).

If you notice the time i'm blogging, its really late into the night, this is because i just came back from work. I really love my job, there's really nothing to it, no reason to like it, no obligations to hate it... Its simply loving the job. I hope that i can get a job which will give me similar feelings in the future.

Also, i've been thinking into the future about a job... And a dream. It's not like i have the most insane dream of owning a garage of exotics (i don't mind), or owning a castle on a hilltop next to a beach with 50 maids and a butler to serve me. It's nothing like that. My dream is to work at a prestigious game developing company. It may not be the coolest dream (it certainly is geeky and all but..), i would lighten up at the thought of working with colleagues with similar interests

Ah, but dreams would always be there wouldn't it? Just a master puppeteer pulling the strings of unwilling people with honest determination to succeed. My dad was telling me about how he loved to own a better car someday... that VW Scirocco.

All I can say is that in many ways it appears that the roll of the dice factors in our lives more often than not. Makes it interesting and it’s never too late to realize a dream or at least try to. ~ laurieanichols

Aside from the constant haze of projects after the holidays, i've been thinking of picking up choir again. I just love being in a group, charging into the stage wearing absolutely stunning clothes and singing harmoniously... Weird huh? Sudden nostalgia.

Hi,

Its another monthly gap from my previous blog post. Not that i blog as much as i do during the "golden age" of my blog, but the reason for this monthly gap is that i feel it would serve the purpose of marking notable days of my lives rather than aimlessly pouring down crap on my keyboard. Nonetheless, lets get this post started ;)

Not to scare you or anything, the title refers to my upcoming MST, which is in short for 'Mid Semester Test'. Although im having doubts about the test (Im having Java practical and Maths), i think i might do well. It can't hurt to have a little confidence right? :d

Oh, just to add, im currently having my holidays now. It ends in about a week (Actually, it ends this Sunday, however, you do not have to attend school for the days which you don't have a test on! 1+ for thoughtfulness).

Aside from the school stuff, i've been going increasingly addicted to a few songs, here, i've even been kind enough to produce the youtube links. (Another +1?)

Aside from intense gaming and rupturing my eardrums with music, i have also been reading some interesting manga/comic.

Uzumaki/Spirals

Uzumaki is a psychological manga, it is disturbing in content and is strongly not recommended for people who cannot take mindfuck manga. Failure to comply to requirements may lead to extreme pawnage and rupture of braincells which may lead to Uzumaki happening to a neighbourhood near you. No really, don't try it if you can't take it.

Anyway, on to my short take. Im currently on the 7th chapter and i must say that Uzumaki has a good plot.
****WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD****
I've read about people disappearing into computer world (Think Serial Experimental Lain), ability to time travel through a microwave (Think Steins;Gate). But never have a encountered a plot where a town is cursed. The town of Kurôzu-cho has a curse where natural and artificially created spirals occur randomly around town. People start going crazy about spirals and have some sick obsession about them. About 3 people have died so far, a father who quit his job and become sickly obsessed with spirals to the point where he dies in a spiral, a wife who died in connection to the father i mentioned earlier and a school girl whos scar became a spiral.

Hi,

Im supposed to be asleep now, but heck, i'd rather be typing =s (Oh, since im exhausted, there might be typo errors and i won't be uploading pictures. I'll add a tl;dr version at the end of the post)

Anyway, since school started, i've been spending a lot. Spending $40 in 2 days without even realising that im spending that much has seriously taken toll on my bank numbers.

Since im schooling now, i plan to keep my budget to $10 per day as i only have to munch on lunch. Hopefully it all goes well!

Just so you know, i just came back from a outing with kc, als and lx. Went to SAFRA at Jurong Point to play pool!

I had to warm up a bit at first, wasn't really getting anything in. Although lx was helping me a lot :s

(On the sidenote, after she left, i kind of played a little better. I think i get distracted easily)

After pool-ing (i know right, sounds like we just went to the swimming pool or something), we went to JP to grab some munchies. I grabbed a baguette from Delifrance (they are devilishly tasty) while als grabbed these small little cakes which cost $1.50 each (he got 8 of them).

I also went to watch Hallpass with mel yesterday. It was a interestingly funny show revolving on relationship setbacks and repairs. Anyway, what made the show funny was the events that happen when the guys got their "hallpass".

I don't think i would go on to the details of the show, but i'll drop a rating.

Anyway, today is the 4th day im having school and i've really been looking forward to it. Just registered for Japanese 3rd language module. I can't wait for the class to start next week. Im hoping it would be a Japanese teacher unlike the Singaporean teacher from the community centre.

Aside from that, im also starting to get worried about maths for the course im doing. I kept asking myself whether it was a fatal move to select DIT. I guess the only answer i'll get from is from time itself.

Hi,

My daily ritual this month has been a mindless rotation of working, eating and sleeping(and playing :x). Just landed myself a new job 2 weeks ago at Night Safari Singapore @ Bongo Burgers as mentioned on the previous post.

Anyway, recently i've been playing this really interesting game on facebook with the gang...

The hooking point of this game which gets us hooked is because of the cute characters and the fantastic eye candy from the skills. There are currently 4 chapters with tons of missions which you can master to get skill points from. You can also initiate a offline party with your friends who are playing the game on facebook!

Went to another first day of work at Night Safari. This time, i am working at a f&b outlet called Bongo Burgers. It sells ridiculously huge amounts of western food. I won't say that it was the worst experience because the other staff were really friendly and i had no trouble integrating. (Not to mention theres a really cute girl working among us :3)

Hi,

Good afternoon peeps, since the day i quit my job, i found a new meaning for freedom. The feeling of not being constrained to schedules feels awesome! (At least i get irritated easily when following other's schedule)

Anyway, as you know, i've been going out with my friends and family for outings and so far it has been awesome. However, since yesterday, i get this weird feeling of boredom, like the urge to go out and get myself lost. Following that feeling, i made plans on monday to go out to marina barrage alone to see the sights and snap some pictures. HOWEVER, somehow, on tuesday, i didn't execute the plan and i lazed away at home instead.

Arrgh, i really need to start going out, lest i start forgetting the outside world.

Anyway, aside from trips and whatnot, i've been listening and watching a huge insane amount of music and music videos, leading me to compile a mental list of what cds to buy during my mini trip to HMV tomorrow (or someday when i feel like it).

Whoa, busy weekend

Hi,

I've been surprisingly more busy with my life after i quitted work. Finally got to go out with my friends and spend some time together after a long time apart.

Alrighty lets start off with Saturday.

Headed to east coast park with zw, py, jj, leo and brian to do a mini cycling trip. Our plan was to cycle to Changi beach, (which we would be able to see the runway of Changi Airport(which i have been wanting to see in a long time)).

Anyway, we started riding half an hour later after renting the bikes because of someone...

Aside from the usual beach babes and whatnot, we saw many fantastic views and sights. After riding about 1/4 of our planned route, we took a break at a breakwater which was under the landing route of the planes landing at Changi Airport. It was awesomely awesome to see planes fly above us with those extremely loud roaring turbines.

Another thing i want to mention at this point are those inconsiderate users who stop in the middle of the path blocking other cyclists from biking. If you do see these people, do not hesitate to do this.

Anyway, back on topic, by the time we were entering Changi Beach, it was about 5:30 and the view was magnificent.. (the guys agreed that the Changi Beach cycling path was like Pulau Ubin)

Sunday's plan was to go out with Syimah and py to have a little munch munch at Breeks @ Harbourfront Centre. Since nothing much really happen apart from the little chit-chat, i'll proceed on with the food...

Aside from all these, i've been doing a lot of manga and anime during my free time. I'm currently on to this series...

Im now currently on the 5th volume of the manga and all i can say is, the plot is strong and seriously awesome. It IS comparable to Chrono Crusade. I love this manga series :3

The prequel anime for Ga-rei, named as "Ga-rei: Zero, was also awesome. However, towards the ending, it got really really sad. Won't want to spoil anyone or myself (when i look through my archives next time :s). All i can say is, you should really go and watch this anime!

So that's another quality anime added to my recommendation list :p

With that, i think i'll go read some manga and cook some instant noodles...

Hi,

God knows how long since i last blogged. Well, its my personal space, no rush to post or anything =s

Anyway, that aside, i've finally given myself a month's break from work. Phew, its been a tough 3 months of work, work and work! Finally i get to settle down on my comfortable sofa and game on my newly bought PS3 =s

And... to reward myself for my humongous effort, i bought myself a copy of YUI's first album hehe~ Her songs never fails to brighten my lonely nights (or, while clipping people's heads in Blackshot)

Back to the music scene, i think im slipping out of control to K-pop and C-pop (Don't worry YUI, im here for you always!). Recently been slightly crazy about Kara and T~ara... Right below are some songs i like from them

Moving on, aside from gaming and manga-ing (Yes i've started to read manga again, the addiction catches on! Noted to fill you in on what im reading in the next post), i went out to watch Shaolin with mummy today...

Ok, as a self proclaimed movie critic, i have to be blunt with this show. The whole plot is utter rubbish. Unless you're desperate for some kung-fu action and you don't really care about the plot, then this show is definitely for you.

For the plot goers (like me), the entire show is built on this word "karma". The show has little or absolutely NO reference to Shaolin. Apart from showing a few kung-fu moves and some moral teachings of the Buddha, i don't see how the show's name is related to the movie at all! They might as well rename the show to "Retributions of a Warlord", the show might in fact get better reviews with that name.

Older movies that had the name "Shaolin" actually showed the entire lives of monks that lived in temples from young to old, and i must say i really enjoyed it, watching the young monks go through hardship and finally gain the true meaning of enlightenment...

Alright lets not get off topic here. Although i really loved the extremely short kung-fu scenes and the short determination one liners from the heroes, the story of the show is entirely off from the title, and with that the final score for the show is...

Its been an extremely long time since i last posted any entries. My 'O' levels are finally over and i am currently working in a showflat now (First job ever, yay!).

Unfortunately, my mother has gone away for 3 days to malaysia to visit my aunties and uncles who are ill. Im forced to wash my own clothes and cook my own food xD

Anyway, more onto my work. Im actually working 7 days a week now and its really exhausting, however, i can't really complain because the pay is $7/hour. (Its a good trade off ><)

Hi,
Today i had the most awesome run in 4 years. This time, py, zw, jj, leon and I ran together. Shockingly, Bri brought a 1.5Litre of lemon tea to run. No really, he ran with it. Anyways, i was so excited today as i was anxiously waiting for school to end to go with Bri to HMV to collect my limited edition YUI: My Short Stories.

Omg, YUI is staring at me ><

After buying the cd and walking around Suntec for lets say... half an hour. We walked back to the underground City Link mall. We had lunch at Thai Express. Which was awesome. I had Green Curry Chicken and Bri had Soft Shell crab with curry. The chicken was fairly soft and the green curry was slighty spicy but fragrant. However, when we got to the rice... We found out that it was slightly undercooked(or maybe it turned cold). Seriously, the rice was half hard, luckily the curry made it bearable to eat the curry.

The second i got home, i took out the cd and slowly tore open the packaging. It was like m new born child =S. Anyways, i ripped the songs from the cd to my computer and watched a few minutes of the DVD that came with it.

Btw, did i mention? That was the last copy of the limited edition My Short Stories from HMV. Sorry to the other poor things. :3

Well, its quite late now and my leg hurts, so i'll sign off here.

Hi,
I've been wondering whether i needed to a reality check because i just got back-stabbed hard. I thought that being friends for 3 years would have been more... Trustworthy.

Then there are the assholes who seriously just can't keep their opinions to themselves, whats the deal seriously? How much pleasure can you get by insulting someone? I don't see animals killing their own kind, why are you doing so?

Maybe because i trusted him too much and i became vulnerable and weak. Did i really go through all that 3 years full of shit just to find some knife sticking out of my back?

Anyway, im trying really hard to finish up my f&n coursework now. I haven't done any revision of any sorts today as...

Hi,
I had a flag day today, my 4th one. 3 other flag days was last year, bringing my CIP hours to a shocking 30+ hours. Im really ok with flag days, you know, its about asking people to help the less fortunate group. But asking us to help 3 times in a year is generally annoying. Is the school aiming for some service award?

You might be thinking, "What about all those people who volunteer everyday? They don't have a problem, why makes you so special?" Apparently im not "those people".

Its been eons since i gamed properly on my computer. Bloody graphic card died on me. Hopefully i'll score for the Os and ask my parents to get me a new rig. Anyway, with no games to play, i decided to use the computer "healthily". During the holidays, i watched anime and hilariously funny shows on youtube. There isn't really much to do when the engine that powers your games is charred from the guts.

This week has been good. I've been practicing old papers from last year to catch up. I only joined back into the virtual world at night. Hopefully, i'll be able to follow this schedule daily and make it into a habit which eventually will show whether it pays off in the O levels results slip.

Next week would be the start of my O levels f&n coursework. With the question releasing on Monday and the whole entire thing ending in June, i wonder how long i can take this pressure.

Blogging would be my only comfort, talking to others about my problems is just a waste of time. Bye.

Anime, again

Hi,
Everyday is inching closer to christmas! Well, not that i have anyone to celebrate with(besides going to my aunt's house).

Turns out that my holiday plans are working, did a topics of f&n today and tried to find something to do. Since the day my graphic card fried, the only games i played were facebook apps and Maplestory(its torturing).

I also finally got the time to watch the anime recommended by Andre. "Darker than Black" is a anime different from the others, with a dark element infused in it, it is definitely a must watch anime. Catching 10 episodes today was good.

Well, apparently i'm also searching for a job... I won't go for anything below $4/hour. I seem to be in a desprete need for cash because i really need to get a new rig. Hmm, maybe i'll watch some more episodes so i'll sign off here.

Outing plans!?

Alright alright, im back from Malaysia! Seriously, this is the first time i've been looking forward to going home so much. Basically, after getting hit by fever, i feel like shit.

Acoording to my Aunts and my mom... Im not allowed to eat rice and oily food for 2 weeks! So when the bus stopped for lunch, i went into the food court with my mom and i could just smell the delicious food steaming from behind the food counters. However, i was forced to eat noodles. So i settled for "kuay teow fishball noodle soup". Apparently, when i bit into the fishball i noticed something awfully odd in my mouth. Shockingly, the shitty fishball tasted like paper. I was wondering why i wasted 6RM($3 approx.) on paper balls.

Another thing i was getting annoyed was that there was a guy who was smoking in the bus! It was seriously hell in there. Luckily for me, that bugger started to smoke only at JB, i think i could had fainted in there.

The sky was already dark by the time i reached home. I went out with KQ to westmall to grab some drinks while mom was unpacking stuff.

After reaching home from westmall, Als and Dion introduced me to this video by Peter Chao. I was laughing at his every video. Particularly, i liked...

Besides grinding on my studies everyday, i decided to finally go out with PY to escape theme park. Apparently, zw and jj seem reluctant to go. If they don't go i might as well not go and eat out with Aswin and Diana?

The plans are also set for movies, might be catching Assassins and Bodyguards and renting Red Cliff 2. Well, with more Peter Chao videos awaiting, i shall sign off here.

Long bus ride ahead....

Hi,
Apparently the bus ride back to Singapore is tomorrow and i feel like total shit just thinking about it. I mean, whats the trouble of taking a taxi back to KL to take a flight back to Singapore? That will definitely cut the time by... 1/4?

Als mentioned something about going back home to blackshot, unfortunately i cant because of my graphic card. Oh well, shit happens in the middle of life somewhere right? Or non-rationally thinking "this is part of God's plan to wake me up for O levels".

So thinking about that idea, i thought that maybe i should just keep the Chinese New Years cash for a rainy day. Perhaps support for the Hong Kong Choir trip?

From an academic viewpoint, im weak in maths. People say its about practice and all the other crap. Thinking through the maths papers, i've come to realised that the simple questions that require only a small fraction of the brain to remember a simple formula could have gotten me a couple of marks(which apparently COULD had passed me). Another thing im beginning to regret/worry is taking up Japanese lesson(writing). Since im in Malaysia, i missed a lesson and i still have a stack of homework not done. From common sense, failing to learn the 50 clear sounds and the other sounds is like going on endless trail without directions.

I plan to spend my december wisely

-Memorize Japanese sounds
-Practice maths

This should keep me intact for a month i hope. With my desktop stripped off of its 3d gaming functions, im left with flash games. So with a planned month ahead, i'll sign off here.

Hi,
Its been a long time since i blogged, im sure the food below has gone bad. Anyways, im blogging from Malaysia, using my biao jie's computer secretly. Its been a really long week, met up with a few of my aunts and uncles, nephews and nieces(mostly nieces).

The 5 days over at KL & Ulu Yam was enjoyable, i mean, its surprising to see how much babies grow in 2 years! I continue to munch on kampung style dishes, you'll never know, these dishes may just die out some day.

During my stay at my aunt's house, we(nieces and 1 nephew) took control of my cousin's room. We watched classic canto zombie horror shows on the tele. My nephew and i were forced to the end of the room(the girls mentioned something about "privacy"), we still went over to their bed for card games in the end, heh.

After 3 days of sleeping late at night, i finally broke into a fever. I actually thought that would be the last thing that would happen in a foreign country, i mean, we do take extra precaution in the food we take while in another person's country right? Well, that wasn't the last of my worries. After my fever, i came down with headache. The headache still hasn't recovered yet, i still feel the dizziness every few minutes.

Will update more when i get back from Malaysia. The weather is still unfavorable. Any outings are inadvisable :0!

So we finally found some time on our hands, teresa and i went to Ministry of Food for lunch/dinner!(still my favorite Japanese restaurant, i have yet to go to a Korean one though).

I think it was about 15 minutes later when she arrived, im guessing she threathen the uncle to move faster ><. Teresa was at guardian reading another twilight book(how many times have she read it again?)

This is the actual post today! Yesterday, went to PY's house to do the friday market thingy.

The idea was to make candles. However, i was pure lazy on posting up pictures >< (i'll post out some youtube vids to make up for that)

We decided to make plain white candles with cupcake moulds! Thanks PY for the rice pot and other utensils used in the process of making the candles. Thanks Yanbing for pouring the freakin hot candle wax. Thanks Weiming for testing the candle! Guess who didn't show up that day?

I was wondering how much people would buy for the candle.
The candles are around the size of 2/3 twenty cent coins placed in a straight line...

So whats your opinion? I'm thinking about selling for for a dollar(colored ones) and non colored will go for 50 cents. Any suggestions are welcomed on the tag board!

Hi,
after a few months of saturdays(school days too) eaten up by NDP, we finally get to the actual day*crowd cheers*! Actually, the truth is, after going for many trainings, it just killed the excitement for the actual day...

However, what the trainings didn't "kill" was the feeling of performing in NDP with your best buds. How often do you do that?

Lunch and dinner were the usual as any other training, but it was really surprising. We ate lunch at 1pm... and at 5pm, they served us dinner(we're not milk tanks* dammit)

So we were nearing the ending of NDP, and i was actually afraid that it was gona rain(ok, i would like it to rain, but i had my handphone with me, so nono!).

Hi,
Today's school day was a bit horrifying, was a bit nervous about my exam papers

Current results

Maths - Failed
Physics - Passed
Mother Tongue - Failed

Personally, i think my exams are going well as those i expect to fail are failing, and those i expect to pass are passing!

Bleh, i think giving maths as the most important criteria for Polytechnic entrance is stupid. What if, for example, this guy is very talented in talking. As in Dj-ing, and stuff, but his maths is horrible. But he is super talented. And you want to reject him because of maths? I think that stupid, if i could open my own poly, i would definitely set my own COPs.

Because having minimum maths for courses such as Mass Communication is meaningless. You learn maths to count what? Microphone? Amount of words you need to write for a report for the newspaper?

If maths is for other courses like, sciences, computing, i don't really mind because you really DO need maths for that. But why do i bother saying all this? Its not like one person can make a difference...

Nothing much going on today, had physics and literature exam today. Physics is going to be fine i think, Literature is going well =D

Anyway, my plans to study for F&N were ruined by the urge to play Gunbound again. Three of us(Als, KC and me), went to create new accounts to try to play season 2 of the spectacular game that i played throught my primary school life.

Yea, we got trashed a few rounds, but we got our first victory... by bunging("pushing" your opponent off the ground) =D

Personally, after losing "touch" i did not want to touch that game again. Bleh, in the end, i suddenly can play =D!

Its been a long time since i blogged. However, today im not going to blog about my life. Instead, im going to talk about Singapore's unique MRT(Mass Rapid Transit for short).

Since the day WE were born, we have been on the MRT, in fact EVERYONE has. "Go to Jurong study? Ok can, i go m-AR-tee then see you there k?" Familier sentences like this always run through our common conversations.

Good news for MRT users. SMRT and SBSTransit has decided to expand their ~~business~~ services. Here is the latest picture of the MRT railway system =D

Yes, familiar? Lets us take a few moments to read a mini text on a site.

"Most boring camp EVER"

Thats what im hearing from everyone who attended the sec 3 camp. For me, i think its.... almost horrible but satisfactory(very confusing ar).

Lets take a overview of the camp first(contains wordy sections):

Day 1)GREAT, its raining on the first day. THANKS A LOT dear Mr Weather. We had our asses down on the ground for 24 hours straight crafting a kart out of rubbish(you'll find out later why we were asked to make a kart). The food wasn't that horrible as people were saying. Come on, its good, admit it.

Please don't fall asleep while looking at this

Day 2)Session 1: Lifting spirits
About: Team building games
Comments: First two games were completely stupid(yes, right in the face), except the "electric fence" one.

Session 2: Making of Junkyard(yes, its supposed to be "making of cart")
About: Ditto
Comments: Although a lot of people didn't contribute, we managed to make it into a fully rubbish cart and the we put the cart in the hut. However, someone decided to pick a fight in the hut and broke the wheel.

Session 3: Team Challenges
About: Competition and team building games
Comments: Why are the games SO boring, argh.

Session 4: Nature Rumble
About: Roll around in a "swamp-mud-water-sand-rock" pond.
Comments: I love this so much, we basically had the go into the "leopard crawl" stance into the mud when the instructor shouts "CONTACTED!". Basically, contacted means you have encountered enemy forces and they are firing bullets at you, so you take cover by simply jumping into mud. The girls were sporting, they just went in and splashed around(good job). However, the aftermath was horrifying, everyone's clothes, pants(EVERYTHING) was filled with with mud/water/sad/rock. Im telling you, almost 80% of the campers threw their shoes away. I saw adidas, nike, mizuno, all the expensive brands(this shows that the school is rich).

We had the cart competition today too, 3e3 won if i remembered correctly. Our cart didn't get fixed in time and it moved for a bit and fell apart during the competition.

Day 3)Prize presentation for overall best class and cart happened on this day. I couldn't wait to get home. I was seriously tired and deprived of energy and the will to live. I caught a picture of Leon while we were on the bus(this shows that no matter how fast you turn, you cannot escape my camera this time!).

Yes, i promised him i will censor his picture. But he didn't tell me how i should censor it. *goes into crazy maniac laughter*

Yes, its been awhile since i last posted. Nothing much is really going on nowadays, studying, reading books, using the computer(sounds like someone is becoming a lowlife)

Personally, i think the hall is seriously old and i bet theres no maintenence. There was a board hanging above the hall which was covered with dust or something. Basically, it looked grand from the outside, but not on the inside. Someone should do something about it.

The only thing that made me so interested in the hall was the freaking huge organ. But it made me realise only one thing, if this is huge organ to me, what does the biggest one in the world look like... it must be... huge.

Outside of VCH

The rehearsals were all taken care of by Ms Kor, there was Queenstown Sec, Gan Eng Seng sec and us! I wonder how much she makes in a month... shocking.

After the long practices, we stepped outside to the hallway where the teacher I/Cs gave us a encouraging speech and from there, we boarded the bus back to school. On the way, i caught this art piece on camera with the sun right where i want it to be.

Yes, its been a while since i posted. Im back again! I had a history test today, wonder how much i will get. (i did not write down most of the important points, which is... really bad)

Anyways, looking on the bright side of life. I got a new book! Thats another strike off my booklist!

Yes, im really happy.

Im really happy(again), this book features multiple authors writing about modern fantasy. I only know 2 of the authors, Neil Gaiman(M is for Magic) and Eoin Colfer(Artemis Fowl Series). Im gona read books from Garth Nix, his story was engaging!
I dont know why i bought this book over Time Paradox, but yea, i bought it, so why not read it?

i know it has been a long time since i last posted. The main reason is, i've been studying alot, i practiced maths, burned the midnight oil. The result, obviously was a failure, i failed maths 1/25 marks.

The real reason i wrote this post today is not to complain about my studies, it is to complain about people who like to "push people into water".

First i would like to compare the differences between FORCE and PERSUADE.

Persuade - To influence or gain over by argument, advice, entreaty, expostulation, etc.; to draw or incline to a determination by presenting sufficient motives. (Source : www. dictionary.com)

Force - Power to influence, affect, or control; efficacious power: the force of circumstances; a force for law and order. (Source : www.dictionary.com)

Now i will explain to you why am i discussing about this 2 words. Before that, lets assume you are a person who believes a religon or a freethinker. Have you ever had a friend who believes in a religon or a family member who believes in one? Yes, of course you do. But have you ever been persuaded by them to believe in their religon? Yes of course. But have you ever been persuaded to an extend where its longer persuading but a act of force? Have you ever been persuaded to the extend where the person totally changes to a different person? Maybe you have, maybe you havent. But for me, yes i have.

Ok, take a look at this situation. Boy A likes to play soccer, he knows everything about soccer and would even fly to another country to watch his favorite team play! He tries hard to convince Boy B to play soccer with him, but Boy B does not want to play soccer.

Now, theres only 2 things that can come out of this.
1)Boy A stops trying to convince Boy B, knowing well that a person has his rights to choose and he accepts it like a civilised person.
2)Boy A continues to convince Boy B by telling him more about soccer, how well Fernando Torres scores, all the soccer tactics, the odds of winning for a particular team. Boy B gets irritated and pissed.

So, let me ask you, which scenario would YOU choose? Before choosing a scenario, please put yourselves into the shoe of Boy B.

Ok, straight to the point to evade a long story. I saw DJMP: Black Square on the shelves of Comics Connection on that day. It was staring straight at me, face to face, how ironic(considering the fact i've been waiting for that game for a LONG time). It cost $62, the makers of DJMP are smart, they made BlackSquare in such a way that you can play it downloaded OR simply without the UMD. But soon, anyways, some smart-ass would probably create a software to counter the program...

Darn it...

In the meantime, i should be aiming for Dark Alchemy...

Last week, i finally came out of my cave and went out with my childhood buddies(yea, we've been friends since forever) We went out to Raffles Shopping Center to have lunch AND dinner(yes it was a day trip). Before that we actually wanted to go to MT Faber, however SOMEONE was not the nature type(not me!!!) so we actually had a change of plans.

Anyways, dont ever talk to joevenn, he is a kid who only knows how to take revenge by calling people's handphone and spamming people by sending files to them. If no teacher were to see this, i dont know what to say. He is like some other people who only know how to fight like a hooligan, but dont know how to talk properly, thats why he fights and fights, no matter what you tell him, he will try to act smart.

Been busy today! Went out with Dion, Als and Biao ge to Bugis area. First Als, Dion and I had to wait for Darren to settle his business, we walked around sim lim square while waiting(saw alot of computer hardware).

3:30pm! He reached and then he shopped around sim lim square to buy a DVD-writer, and ask for more advice on fixing computer....

Time to post about my recent trip to the Rihanna concert. YES RIHANNA concert. I went out with Tere to watch the concert! We also had dinner at KFC =O

The winter environment there is good, we constantly need to put lipbalms and etc.. RAWR, why am i wearing lipstick...feels like it.

Im kinda sad though, i didnt see any snow at the great wall of China or at HuaShan, how unlucky can i get? Oh right, not to mention i constantly lost my stuff, i nearly lost Shahir's camera. I forgotten my towel at the hotel(dont tell my mom), my travel adapter is lost too!!!

Big day! High mood
FINALLY, it was the concert day. Everything was messy for the Band, Drama and the Choir.

Thats right...

We trained on performance day from 8am to 5pm. Seriously sick, the dinner and lunch was awful(yes i totally agree with Mr Alan Wong!!). I thought we would get buffet lor =.=...

(sorry no pictures were taken during the performance)
We were at the backstage waiting for the Band to finish, it was the actual thing this time. Not a rehearsal, i did not feel any nervousness but i was not prepared for the crowd. Then a message was passed down,"STANDBY!!!", immediately i was checking whether my vest and shirts were good and whether my shoelaces was tied. Then, we entered the stage with a thunderous applause from the audience. And we sang our 3 songs..

This is known as the "blue screen of death", it has happened many times on my 8 year old computer. Although i hate the error screen, i cant avoid it!

Here are a few reasons why you had encounter the blue screen recently...
Bluescreens can be caused by poorly written device drivers, faulty memory, a corrupt registry or your computer is low on memory!

yes yes, we had our annual inter-class competitions while the sec1s' were away enjoying themselves. It wasn't a surprise that were gona be bored cheering for our own team. Instead, ZW Bri and I entered the Cyber gaming competition right in our school's media hub. We played against every class and emerged as 2nd placing.
(the score was 1 to 5 ><)

After school Joevenn, PY, Bri, Leon and WeiMing came to my house to play! We really didnt had a good time ><(i wasnt much of a good host i guess). After Joevenn, PY and Leon went home, WeiMing and I went to Bri's house... LOL rocks...

Yes, i've finally rented the cd and watched it. This part/movie tells us about the preparations to defend the main Headquarters for the Southerners, about forging alliances between two different nations. This alliance is formed to destroy CaoCao's objective to conquer! Haha, throughout the movie you should focus on Zhu ge liang's intelligence.(but sometimes he tries to act cool >< Person A,"i heard you know about..." ZGL,"No, only a little bit")

Those CaoCao noobs totally got pawned, flat. I shall wait for the sequel to Red Cliff... hope it will come soon =D!

IM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS BOOK!!! But darn, its so ex 29$ *groan* Apart from going crazy about Vampire Beach, Artemis Fowl is better :P!!!

The new book has the same main characters, Artemis Fowl the second, Holly Short and the very energetic Butler! Artemis's Mother has contracted a disease that can only be cured by a lemur! The story gets interesting as Artemis faces his younger self because he needs to teleport back into time to get the lemur(he himself made it extinct). I got sick on sunday, which made me suffer for 3 days. While playing basketball today during PE, the super overfilled air ball hit my thumb and injured it badly. It hurts, i cant move it... >.>

Before everything else, this is my 100th post(again, although tere had her big 1000th post :o).

Im really ashamed of myself. My maths is weak. I mean, HOW CAN MY MATHS BE WEAK? We use it everyday =.=, and yet i cant even solve a "OH-you-do-it-like-that" questions.

I tried to love maths, everyones supporting me, telling me advices to try and love maths and stuff. BAHH, i cant do it!!! No matter how i do it, how much i try, ITS JUST TOO IMPOSSIBLE.

I? Edgar Wong from 2 EXPRESS passing maths? HAHAHHAAA LOOl (rated funniest joke of the year!) =.=

Every time im starting to improve on a certain topic, the teacher just ZOOMS past and carries to the next topic. Thats one of the problems. Another problem is that i cant understand a word the teacher is saying... Today is pythogaras theorem! Like, WTF is that? Shapes joining together to form the same shape!? I thought i was moving, but im just there.

Whats wrong with being a slow learner? Everyone starts being nub =.=, you dont just get born and start reciting your numbers 1 to 10 =.=

hey, sorry for the long update, heehee. Yesterday i went to Novena square with aLs and his cousin, i was 80% bored! Lol, the other 20% was jokes and interesting stores around Novena.

Bahh, anyways, aLs's cousin was good. He treat us the donut, very tasy can!!!

DONUT HEAVEN!!!

I decided to screw the timeline and get to the donut part first =D. But now lets get back to the beginning...

We went to a restaurant, it was a Japanese and 1/4 Korean pasta restaurant.

I got the bacon and cheese spaghetti, als got eel and mushroom, while his cousin got some spaghetti, flavor unknown.

As you can see, this restaurant offers a WIDE variety of food, my lens was not wide enough =O

GREEN TEA =D (free flow for 2$)

WOWOWWOKWOWOWW, interesting but boring. Heehee, didnt really do much over there, walked around to a few Japn shops. Loved the convienient shops there. =D

Overall. I liked this trip, hope i can get out of my house more often.

YAY, got to end school at 11am today... Went to the swimming meet at Singapore Sports School. The school is dam huge with... 2 swimming pools, 1 huge track, 1 hall. This is what I've discovered so far... The school is like a giant playground, if you play hide and seek, you will play whole day =D.

Moving on, we went there to do duty*crowd goes "oo, ahh"*. No seriously, ridiculous duties which a adult can do. Like, not letting the competitors exit the pool area after competition, passing papers, taking care of idiots who are deaf and illiterate on the second floor of the swimming poolsss.

My duty was to remind assholes to keep away from the second floor. Look, im a singaporean too, I KNOW YOU WANT TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR CHILD SWIMMING. If im a parent, i'll definitely do that too... or do I? NO, 100% sign and sign again. NO-WAY, i suffered LONG enough. Firstly, imagine you are INSTRUCTED to do a DUTY which is to keep people off the second floor, but some people just dont give a damn. You are pissed and exhausted. OK, why am i making SUCH a huge deal about this? There was this person, a senior citizen(gender not revealed to protect the blogger) it was a staff from some parts of the school, when my partner and i asked it NICELY to move, it replied "IM THE STAFF OF THIS SCHOOL!!!" >=(.

NONO, WTF i dont give a SHIT/F*** about you, im doing my job, and you're doing yours... wait YOU'RE NOT DOING YOUR JOB, JUST SLACKING. What? Watching people swim is your job?

Heelo, good morning ^_^.
Theres construction work outside my block now. A new lift is emerging!! wa... good for you have lift liao...... YA RIGHT.

STUPID DRILLING SOUNDS, PEOPLE NO NEED SLEEP AR? 10am drill until 5pm.

Anyways, to counter the loud horrific sounds, i have a small collection of songs ranging from R&B to Punk to Metal. I tried to counter that loud noise using different songs, its like playing a game. ARRRRGH STOP THIS ALREADY LA... =.=

Next, i tried using my psp's mp3 player, the stupid drilling sound penetrated through my ear piece =.=

I realise i have bad luck, i go to toilet the drilling pauses, i come out drill again, like purposely want to disturb me.

Finally after dinner at KFC we took the escalator to toys r us, teresa ran off in the speed of light, hoping that she could find the 2x2x2 cube. HAHA, too bad it was right infront of the entrance =.= tere, you have to thank joevenn too.

A second after she payed for the cube she tore the packaging so fast @_@, and solved it after a few minutes away from the exit.

Im really really tired of playing with my psp, looking through videos on youtube... So, i will be blogging now.

Lets just say i've been very busy today, gamed on my psp a little and went to do some uncompleted stuff on Paint.

So basically, i have nothing to do today. Slacking is for slackers ^_^
Trying to save some cash to get myself some maths assessment books that i can work on after school. I really need to start thinking about my future... no wait, 2 years time. i know its not going to be a very smooth trip after the holidays, gona go on a crash course with maths. Yes finally, project M(sounds like a movie:O). Got split into two teams, TeamA Teacher I/C YanBing and Me^_^. TeamB Wei xian, Syafiq and Zay nyien. So we went to the blocks to go door-to-door, really nervous because dont really do much of that stuff. I really dont know how ~~salesman~~ students get their confidence from... Have a few rude people.

TRIP ON A CURB ***HOLE(halfway through)
SO, you might think its "cmon, its WAYY to simple, just ask and get papers", haha... NOPE! Firstly, i'll like to curse all those "its"(can't call them people) to trip on a curb. Secondly, i'll like to say a few very MEANINGFUL sentences... Look, you have a huge stack of papers and you give us 1 small batch. 20cents you buy what? Mee Soto 1 strand of noodle ar?

Moving on to the "I-give-you-paper-you-give-me-cash" shop.
OMG, the worst part of the project, we made about 5/6 trips to that shop in total :o, really tiring, had to cross 1 cross junction. For Wei Xian's team, we had to cross 3 roads.. \(=.=)/ yay. The worst part of this worst part was the problem many people faced... hundreds did not make it... but we did... MUAHAAAA, ok the problem is that the newspapers keep falling off the trolley:p

Oh, was watching The chronicles of Narnia : Prince Caspian.

Since i didnt watch the first show of Narnia, i have pretty much nothing to talk about this movie.

I rate the movie 8/10, you know why? Cause no magic and exaggerated stuff -well walking trees are cool >:(- Really had a nice plot(gona skip talking about it), loved the characters, especially Lucy. Moving on, there may be some twist and turn of events in the story. Don't expect too many of "this-is-too-easy-" stuff to happen. Anyways, i was really shocked by the writer of the movie and the book(the movie guy edited and added some parts that weren't in the storybook, so catch the movie while you still can). It had centaurs, minotaurs, griffins, trolls, dwarf(Heroes5 rip-off!! SUE SUE SUE :p). You might be wondering now... why so many good points still give 8? The ending was not what i expected, there was still bloodshed in the end, i will not tell you WHY, HOW, WHEN. ^_^

Day1 of ATC(Changi Ferry Terminal,Pulau Ubin Jetty, Camp resilient)

I shall be starting here, before everything started and ended. Anyways, we took a 5 minute ride to the other side. What a welcoming sight =.= "Welcome to Pulau Ubin". We had to walk a EXTREMELY long path to the campsite(note to self, stock up on water nxt year) , we finally reached the gates of ~~hell~~ camp resilient/ce. We walked slowly to our campsite... which was named camp bahru(camp for beginners). We had ice breaker, some "fun" briefings and stuff. Had to pitch up tent by 5pm. Yay... no =.=, this is what i think of the soil there.. they purposely took it from a rock quarry near a river and dump it there. The ground was like quick sand with full of rocks, my pegs couldn't even go in =.=, and if it did, it will come out like someone put oil on it.

Day2 of ATC (Camp Bahru)
Bloody hell, kena woke up at 4/5am =.=, ji dan, we catching plane ar? So we had a ~~child abuse~~ PT session. I don't want to type about it. Anyways, after that, my shirt became a cat's litter box. Ate breakfast, not very satisfying, had 2 energy bars(apricot and honey) and im off. We had activities :o, really seriously NOT FUN. first we had Rock climbing cum maze, stupid waste my time(you'll find out later why i said that), after that, we headed to low ropes, pretty ridiculous, even my kid brother could do that(wait, since when did i have any sibling?). We got back just in time for lunch. Finally it was time to go rafting... NOT!! It rained with thunderstorm =.=, we could have used the rock climbing time to do rafting... but noooo, they put rafting last for us.. Purposely der lor... =.= The only thing that kept me alive was rafting.. they planned to destory it =.=..

Day3 of ATC (Camp Bahru and Sec3 campsite)
YAY, finally, the camp ends, EVERYONE was hyper. We did as we were told, the sirs even praised us lor.. Anyways.. We had to unpitch the tent with greenridge sec, LUCKY we nvr kena toilet washing. Moving on, we had to pack up and have our lunch :o (i whipped up a pretty scrumtious meal consisting of dry noodles and canned curry), and then prize presentation ceremony, i would like to take this opportunity to thank Serene for your hardwork, without you, we wouldn't have won the best group award :o! So we slowly walked out of camp resilient...(ya im not happy too T.T) I had a rough walk back to the jetty, a lot of people irritate me, lucky i found myself a gap and started to walk alone, i thought about what im gona blog about, who to go out with.. etc etc. Finally reach liao, i saw the other side of that horrible sign saying "Have a nice day" This time, i felt like planting a detpack there >:D! Took the 5 minute ferry again, and walked slowly to the JK58 white color bus.. looolx. I took out a energy bar that i smuggled from the rations pack, and settled down to eat it, in a air conditioned bus. After that, i knocked myself out with that sweet taste still lingering in my mouth.....

Been doing nothing recently, just burning some time while waiting for my new processor!! (thx Dad^_^)

Man, im so tired, i dont think im prepared for the camp.. Went to a friend's violin concert. Lol, there were ALOT of musically talented people there. Then, so tired, i dont think tmr i can survive that walk to the camp site =.=

Got to go to some camp for 3 days.. T.T. Gona miss a few episodes of "Code Geass", a recent anime i've been watching.. its very nice to watch :o.... (its like, death note without pen or paper)

Haha, after the camp, im gona catch-up with some old frens, go out with a few people. Maybe have lunch or something...

Sorry for not putting any pictures lately, really tired.

Anyways, went back to school for maths remedial, i really didnt know how to do the questions, a few people just came to the remedial and copy their frens work, whats the point?
